Our Children’s and Youth work at HMEC is led by our full time Youth and Children’s Worker, Carron Hopwood, and is all about “Knowing Jesus and making Him Known”.

Our aim is to provide a nurturing environment where our young people can learn about what it means to be a Christian in the 21st Century.
Our ultimate aim is to disciple our young people in an active faith that they can continue to develop for the rest of their lives.

Below are the activities for different ages…

Minis is for Reception age (up to Y2) and meets every Monday during term time from 4.45pm till 5.45pm
Come along to enjoy fun, games, Bible stories and a chance to meet new friends.

If you are in Y3-6 come along every Friday during term time from 6.00pm – 7.15pm. Have fun with games, crafts, chilling out and getting to know more about God.

Want to connect with friends? Have a fun place to chill out? Learn more about God?  Well if you are in Y7+ come join us every Friday during term time 7.45pm – 9.15pm and bring your friends with you.

Are you in high school and want to learn about the Bible in a fun, creative and relevant way? Then come along to our Young Peoples Bible Study as well.  We meet on alternate Wednesdays at 8pm during term time.
