We share with many other Christians a belief in and commitment to the historic truths of the Church:

• We believe there is one God, the creator and sustainer of the universe.
• We believe in the uniqueness of Jesus Christ as both the fully divine Son of God and the fully human son of Mary; we believe His life of perfect obedience and His death in our place for our sins are the means by which we are brought into a new relationship with God.
• We believe in the physical resurrection of Christ from the dead and His return in glory to judge all people.
• We believe in the necessity of a personal response to Christ and the presence of the Holy Spirit to indwell and empower the Christian.
• We believe that we will all face eternity, some to be in the presence of our Saviour Jesus and some excluded from his presence.
• We believe in the reliability and the trustworthiness of the Bible as the unique revelation of God’s character and purposes for the world.
